One simple per-person number, prorated as your workspace grows or shrinks. 30 days free to try, no card required. The average fully-loaded cost of a single resignation at a 300-person org is ~$60k — fynn pays for a year of a 300-person workspace if it prevents even one.

What's the ROI math I can walk into a budget conversation with?
Per-person fully-loaded cost of a resignation at a 300-person org averages ~$60k (replacement, hiring, ramp, cultural drag). fynn costs about $9k/year for that same 300-person org. One prevented resignation covers roughly seven years. Your CFO will find this conversation short.
What happens after the 30-day trial?
You'll get a heads-up before it ends. If you want to keep going, add a card (Stripe). If not, fynn pauses cleanly — no data deletion, no countdown, no guilt-trip emails.
How does billing scale?
Per seat, prorated. Add a member mid-cycle, Stripe charges the proration. Remove a member, credit applies next invoice. fynn syncs seat counts from Slack's member list automatically — no manual reconciliation with your org chart.
Can we self-host?
Yes, on Enterprise. fynn is a Laravel 12 app with a Docker Compose file (app + queue + slack + scheduler + MySQL + Redis). Runs anywhere. SSO, DPA, data-residency commitments available.
Does it need AI to work?
No. Every AI touchpoint has a deterministic fallback. Without an API key, pair starters come from your question bank, watercoolers get template openers, and personalization is off — you still get pairings, watercoolers, and check-ins.
Who pays for the AI tokens?
Included in Team pricing — we absorb reasonable usage. Every AI call is audit-logged so admins can see what the AI did, what it cost, and whose behalf it ran on.
What about privacy and GDPR/DPDP/CCPA?
Consent-first. Every person can DM fynn delete my profile to wipe everything fynn inferred about them — instant, no admin approval. Opt-outs are hard gates in code, not policy (no AI override possible). Replies are never used to train external models; LLM calls run under zero-retention terms. We'll send your DPO our DPA + the full Privacy policy before you sign anything.
Is this a real product?
Built by Axelerant's People Care + engineering team. Incubating inside the Axelerant workspace before general release.
The trial is 30 days. The setup is 2 minutes. The worst case is you leave mid-month with 154 coffee chats that wouldn't have happened otherwise.
Donut is a solid product. Here's where fynn is different — and where we're not.
Comparison reflects fynn features that are live in the codebase today. Donut rows reflect their published documentation at the time of writing. We'll update this as either product changes.
